Over the summer, we had the opportunity to travel to Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia to do a tree job for a relative's friend. The tree was bigger than we thought. Since we did not have a chipper with us, we had to figure a way to haul the debris to the dump. We made sides for the truck from some of the limbs and packed the rest in there good and tight.
After working it was time to play! Smith Mountain Lake is perfect for all types of water sports especially jet skiing. Had a blast the rest of the weekend!
I have been working in the tree care industry for over twenty years. I started from humble beginnings watching my dad cut down trees just for the firewood so we would be warm during the winter. I bought my first chainsaw from the JCPenney catalog and started doing tree work out of a 1971 Ford F100 pick-up truck. Even though it takes a lot of hard work and dedication, I truly enjoy what I do. This career is one of the most dangerous out there, but I love my job nonetheless. Tree work has taught me to keep the faith and that nothing is worth getting upset over!
